Spondylitis

How can we help

Many people experience neck pain or stiffness in the neck. In most cases, it is due to poor posture, normal wear and tear, or overuse. This can be relieved in a few days of therapy or home remedies can work also.

Symptoms of pain in the neck may be associated with pain radiating to shoulder, shoulder blade, arm, fingers, chest, face or back of head. Numbness in fingers can be a associated symptom. Chakkars, nausea, vomiting can be related to neck symptoms. This may be due to spondylitis, disc prolapse, fibrofascitis, injury, etc, and this requires medical supervision.

Home care: Before you can get to your physiotherapist you can start with either cold pack or hot pack to give you some relief. Do not try any vigorous massage or exercises without consulting your physiotherapist.
